travel的基本意思是“行走,行駛”,引申可指“旅行,旅遊”,指某人到各個不同的地方所進行的多次旅行,尤指一段較長時間的出國旅行。travel泛指旅行時,用作不可數名詞,不加不定冠詞; 如果指一次較長時間、且去過多処地方的旅遊時,常用複數形式travels。
travel可指“旅行筆記,遊記”,通常用複數形式,但不加many或數字脩飾。
